NSF Hosted Training Courses

NSF is proud to host four in-person dietary supplement training courses focused on the natural products industries at Natural Product Expo East in Philadelphia on September 27 and 28, 2022. There are four one-day classroom-based courses on dietary supplement GMPs, quality management systems and regulatory compliance. These courses are held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and do require a paid upgrade to your badge registration to participate. 

 

Internal Auditing Training

GMP's and the Consideration for Natural Product Producers Training

Manufacturing Dietary Supplements can be challenging for natural products producers. The FDA expects all companies that manufacture, package, or hold dietary supplement products to follow 21 CFR 111, the Dietary Supplement CGMPs. Root Cause Analysis and Investigative Writing

Vijay Bachus will address non-conformance reporting (NCR), CAPA and problem reporting (PR) writing in this course. You will review root cause analysis writing and how to write clear investigations that flow, identify real root cause(s), implement effective corrective/preventative actions, and justify, prove and defend decisions. Participants will also learn how to write clear and concise justification letters that support RCA and CFR to explain, prove, and defend  decisions. This course is a paid upgrade. FDA Inspection Readiness Training

Trainer Shawn Ludlow will walk you through the process of preparing for an FDA inspection for dietary supplements. Preparing for FDA inspections will help you avoid getting a warning letter and the regulatory and business consequences that come with it. Establishing a relationship of professional trust between you and the FDA requires preparation well before the inspection, thoughtful management during the inspection and thorough follow-up after the inspection.
