Keeping accessibility, diversity, inclusion and community at the forefront when planning our event. Below are just a few ways we are doing this. Click the + sign to learn more.
We've partnered with (included), a membership collective for BIPOC top executives in CPG who are dedicated to one another’s success, who advocate for diverse representation, and who commit to amplifying BIPOC voices. This exciting partnership guides multiple efforts at both Expo East in Philadelphia and Expo West in Anaheim and is a strong steppingstone in creating a long-term strategy for how our platforms can most effectively elevate BIPOC-owned brands in the industry. Highlights from these efforts included conference session collaborations, complimentary Natural Products Expo East Virtual Platform memberships for (included) members, networking events and onsite exhibit space and table top features.
Our partnership with (included) is created to more effectively elevate BIPOC-owned brands in the industry. In 2022, highlights from these efforts included special events (like our Friday Night Concert with Arrested Development!), education, booths to members in Hot Products on the show floor and tabletops to members at Harvest Festival. Stay tuned for details on how to find these brands in 2023!
At Expo, we're keeping your health and wellness in mind when creating our event schedule and onsite layout. Thank you for joining us for one or both of our fitness-focused events and enjoying relaxation spots throughout the day with our massage chairs in 2022 - stay tuned for what's in store for 2023!
We continue to strive for the most accessibility at Expo. Parents, we had dedicated nursing rooms and child care so that while you were browsing the newest products on the trade show floor, you knew your loved ones were being cared for.
Our partnership with WOAR in Philadelphia, whose mission is to end sexual violence, will be implemented as part of our ETHOS Initatives. They will have a tabletop in the Grand Hall and advocates wearing, "See something, say something" shirts around the trade show floors and at both of the evening concerts.
