Additionally, show guests will have the opportunity to experience a sneak peek of the all-new Supreme Grind 5000 nut butter grinder set to debut in early 2018. Natural Products Expo East will be the first opportunity for media and the public to learn more about this product.
“We’re constantly exploring new products for our consumers, and we are interested to hear their thoughts on our new peanut flavors and nut butter grinder,” said Dallas Barnes, President of Hampton Farms and grandson of the original founder George Barnes. “This show will be the perfect opportunity for us to debut our new products for the rest of the year and some that will be released in 2018.”
Hampton Farms has been a leader in the natural products field since 1917 when The Barnes family began farming peanuts in North Carolina. By 1946, they had started a peanut company working directly with American peanut farmers. The family established Severn Peanut Company, a “sheller” in the peanut industry, and later formed Meherrin Agriculture in 1958 to provide grower services to farmers in the Southeastern United States. In 1989, the company started roasting peanuts and launched the Hampton Farms brand in 1996 to complete the full circle of their “seed to shelf” services.
Today, Hampton Farms upholds that value and partners with local farms to seed and harvest their peanuts which are located throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia including organic farms in New Mexico and Texas.
Hampton Farms supports these farms throughout the growing season to ensure each has the proper tools and knowledge that is necessary in order to have a successful crop.
From farming and roasting to packaging and in the hands of the consumer, Hampton Farms stays true to its “seed-to-shelf” mission.
All Hampton Farms peanut products are harvested right here in the United States by local farmers. Hampton Farms is committed to quality and freshness, so you will find our products in the produce section next to your fruits and veggies.
